CREATIVE PORTRAIT LIGHTING
Take control of your photographic domain and master the light! Whether your subjects are people in the studio or on location, this live demo lighting workshop will teach you how to manipulate light—and the mood—to suit your subject. This seminar presents essential lighting techniques and tools to help you understand the three crucial elements of light: direction, quality and depth.
In addition to sharpening your understanding of umbrellas, soft boxes and grids, you will become familiar with such light control devices as fresnel spots, beauty dishes including the Softlight Reflector with Grid Diffuser, the Mola, the Ring Light and diffusion panels. Learn to work with everything from a classic one light setup to balancing multiple lights and battery packs, demonstrating problem solving and creative techniques. Advanced techniques include dragging the shutter and effective camera shake. Handouts will be provided. |
